For over 40 years, GDG Gerätebau GmbH has specialised in the manufacture of measuring instruments for the electrical testing of armatures and stators. At our location in Sasbach in the Black Forest we develop our products hand in hand.

Starting with our high-precision measurement board, through mechanical and electrical design and manufacture, software development and digital signal processing, up to initial operation, we are at the side of our customers – worldwide.

Large portfolio

The product range extends from armature and stator testsystems from semi-automatic to fully automatic testsystems, computer-controlled testing machines. Application fields include quality assurance, development, laboratory and EOL testing. Our special devices are in operationi in industries such as automotive, power tools, household appliances, pumps, industrial drives and medical technology.

Close contacts to industry and research allow us to recognize and realize new technological trends at an early stage. The experience and flexibility of our 35-member team allow us to implement solutions to customer-specific requirements. In combination with our extensive stock, we can react quickly in case of service.

Introduction of welding resistance measurement on stators

An automatic armature tester with a cycle time of < 3 sec. is developed, which still sets worldwide standards today.

The testing software of the armature test is extended with the stator test

Construction of the main building in Sasbach with 600 m², construction of the mechanical production in CNC technology. Production of the first engine test bench.

Transformation of MGP to GDG Gerätebau GmbH in Achern/Gamshurst with the establishment of an own design department, electronic development and production
